Before the Flood 2008: Peaceful Moment ©2009 a charcoal & Pastel drawing by Iowa City artist Karl SternbergI finally completed this drawing.  I have been working on it for a long time. See blog & flickr posts: June 6, 2008  and September 9, 2007.  Interesting that the June 6th, 2008 blog entry was a week before we were evacuated from our home due to the 2008 Iowa City flood.
